Download and install

Download the plugin zip below, then install it from Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in your WordPress admin.

Paste your Bot ID

Go to Settings → ChatForger and paste the Bot ID from your bot's Widget tab in the ChatForger dashboard.

It's live

The widget renders on every page automatically. Edit your bot's color, welcome message, or knowledge base from the dashboard — changes show up instantly, no plugin update needed.

Questions

Where do I find my Bot ID?

Open your bot in the ChatForger dashboard and go to its Widget tab — the Bot ID is the data-bot-id value in the embed snippet shown there.

Does the plugin add a new code path to my bot?

No. It prints the exact same script tag the dashboard already gives you for manual copy-paste. All chat logic, branding, and knowledge-base answers are controlled server-side from your ChatForger dashboard, same as a manual embed.

Will this slow my site down?

The script loads with the async attribute, so it never blocks page rendering.

Is it in the official WordPress.org plugin directory?

Not yet — for now it's a direct download so you can install it today. Submission to the official directory is planned once there's real install volume to justify the review process.
